Music Picks for Thursday, June 3

Mike Mickxer - Hibernian (Blues/Jazz/Rock fusion)
Mike, Gary and Mick have been around for some time now in various combinations and now they are all together as a side project to jam and have fun. Their shows run the gammit of musical styles and they even throw in a cover song as per request from time to time... Surprisingly, this works well and their sets are very enjoyable with some serious musical talent and some amazing solos. This is well worth your time to check them out if you are out and about this evening...
Show starts at 10:30

Reverend Horton Heat - Cats Cradle (opening for CRACKER)
This legendary rocker from Dallas is a true treat. One of the great ones in the genre of Rockabilly and Psychobilly - he could be a show unto himself - but he is opening for Cracker so you can get a short set out of him before the Cracker show... His songs run from from political commentary to just plain nonsense - but it is all good and great time.....
