Music Picks for Thursday, July 29

Whiskey Kills the Butterflies - Pourhouse (Indie)
Whats most impressive about this Raleigh band is that sometimes when listening to them, it's like closing my eyes and listening to Eddie Vetter - great stuff and its a great sound and i really like how the instrumentation complements the wonderful vocals - a great example of this is "Greetings from Munich" - wonderful and powerful..... Psuedo Blue & the Majestics open the show around 10. Expect Whiskey kills to be on around 11:30 or so....

Ben Palmer Trio - Hibernian Raleigh (jazz)
Ben Palmer trio is a local jazz trio that plays solid jazz at various locations around the triangle. This is the perfect place to go out and get your jazz fix for the evening... Solid sounds, great musicians and should be a great evening of jazz.

Bumble - The Hive @ Busy Bee (electronica)
Not the only spot to get your electronica fix but certainly a solid choice for a Thursday night out - beat the weekend madness dancing and grooving evening. This is a Solid set of music and will be a great time..
