The Old Ceremony - The Pourhouse (funk rock)
The Old Ceremony is a very talented band out of Chapel Hill area. They remind me on a great band out of the New Orleans area - Bag of Donuts - maybe even sortof like Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes. Closer to Raleigh, they sound a bit like Wilco. They bring an interesting mix of rock, funk, and vocals. This is definitely a show worth checking out . Floating Action will get things started around 10:30 or so....
Swagger - The Dive Bar (southern rock)
Swagger was introduced to me by an old friend -and I'm impressed. I'm looking forward to this show - they bring a solid southern rock base and some solid guitar and vocals.
This promises to be a upbeat - high energy show - certainly one not to miss....
Zoso - Lincoln Theatre (Led Zepplin coverband)
Zoso bills itself as "The Ultimate Led Zepplin Experiance" - they are certainly one of the better coverbands for Led Zepplin - enough said! If that wasn't enough enough, Night Prowler - an AC/DC coverband opens the evening.......
