Donna the Buffalo opens a 2 night stand at the Lincoln Theatre
I'm not sure this band needs much introduction. This band has been on the major regional and national scene for years now... There are very few places that they have not played. This a truly a treat for Raleigh to have this band for not one, but two nights... They are simply amazing with their ability to play a wide variety of music in one set - from folk to rock, to Zydeco and back again... This is a treat and certainly not a show to be missed. The Believers will kick the show off around 9:30 or so...
American Aquarium - Pourhouse (Rock / Rockabilly)
This Raleigh band is a crowd favorite and is in the midst of a national tour. They are a fresh mix of old and new - with a healthy dose of folk tossed in for good measure. If you like Wilco or The Hold Steady, be sure to check these guys out. It should be a great show... Check them out on myspace www.myspace.com/americanaquarium
Martha Ann Motel & The Motion Pictures kick things off around 10 or so...
