Music Picks for Friday, March 26

Dirty Little Heaters - Pourhouse (Rock)
This might be part of the "Let Feedback Ring" festival weekend - but this band rocks! With Reese on guitar and vocals, the rest of the pieces fall into place. This is pure rock band - lots of crazy guitar riffs, great backbeat and the steady vocals make this a classic band to jump around to.... Check them out @ www.myspace.com/thedirtylittleheaters and check out "mexico way" or "untitled" Local Bands The Loaners & The Moaners open the night around 10pm

Parmalee - Deep South (Rock)
This Greenville, NC band really needs no introduction. They have made quite a name for themselves in the past few years playing with the likes of Matchbox Twenty, Sugar Ray & others. They bring a distinctive attitude to the stage with their brand of guitar driven rock and roll and the unique and infectious vocals. This is most certainly a show to catch - get there early as space (where you can see the band) is very limited. www.myspace.com/parmalee

Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit - Lincoln Theatre (Rock / Classic Rock)
This Muscle Shoals, AL band is on the end of a tune-up run before a Tour of the land down under.... Their brand of hard rock is reminicent of the old Boston Band "Morphine". Great stuff, easy to listen to - not so easy to dance to - so grab a brew and sit or stand and listen to them jam. It will be a great show! Caleb Claude and the Bayonets open the evening. Expect the music to start around 9:30 or so.... www.myspace.com/jasonisbellmusic
