Music Picks for Wednesday, March 17

Waylandsphere, Oatmeal Conspiracy & Triple Wide - Pourhouse (rock/indie rock/jazz/funk)
Waylandsphere has been around forever - their mix of their rock stylings and covers of classic rock tunes is allways good and will draw a good crowd - catch them on Youtube.
Oatmeal Conspiracy is Raleigh's answer to what would happen if Widespread Panic started to play some indie rock - while still playing their usual stuff... This is an interesting mix of songs that can change dramatically and it is all good. This is definitely a band to check out.
Triple Wide is a Wilson, NC band that is attempting to break onto the local funk scene. I like what I've heard and I hope to hear her more this Wednesday.... They will be opening the evening - around 9 or so.....

Unknown Hinson - Berkely Cafe (Rock / Rockabilly)
This man is LEGEND. Now based in Charlotte, NC - Unknown Hinson is one the great ones. Billed as the great king of Country Western Troubadors - this guy is rockabilly royalty. If you like Rebel Son, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd - you will love this set. Get here early - it will fill up. There is also a best beehive/best side burns contest.
The show will start around 9....
